Sanshin (Okinawan Shamisen) Neck - Kuwagi - Vintage
244.20 $
Description
The length is modern, but the facial features, the file marks on the core, and the core's rise suggest that the sanshin's neck is quite old.
The material is believed to be Kuwagi (mulberry wood).
It's difficult to see because it's not white, but a utaguchi (mouthpiece) is attached. The material of the utaguchi is unknown.
The chiga (with repairs to tears on the back) and karakui shown in image 10 onwards are bonuses. (I used it in this condition for a while because I liked the sound.)
The price will not change, but please let us know if you do not need them.
This item is not suitable for those seeking new or mint condition items, or for those who are sensitive.
Please consider this item if you are specifically looking for a playable vintage or antique instrument.
